Thanks for this list Ailsa! Interestingly, I have the first one you mentioned. I bought it years ago when I lived in Kingston, one of the first gardening books I bought when I was beginning to explore perennials. I'll have to explore these other books. They sound fascinating.
I'm not surprised you already have Patrick Lima's book Ruth Anne! It really is a classic. And you won't be sorry with any of the others as well - great reading for the winter months...
