Beautiful poem and wonderful sentiments from Mary Oliver. Being a mother myself, I often look back and wish I had been wiser, kinder, more understanding of how to nurture the tender beings in my care. Then I remember that we all arrive here with lessons to learn and bridges to cross on our own. There is no room for regret. Our experiences are all part of the journey each of us is on. My love for my sons is full and can't be more than what it is. I have given them what I could and started them on their path. Now I can sit back and continue to send my love to them as they explore their own world.
